San Francisco Garter Snake
The San Francisco Garter Snake is a very cool and colorful endangered species surviving in the nooks and crannies of San Mateo County. I made this svg/vector art in Inkscape. And yes, it really is colored neon blue and red:
The Orchid
Here I imagined that, in the future, we will use bio-tech to create supersized versions of plants and animals as temporary public sculpture, such as this orchid on San Francisco’s waterfront.
Energy
I made this print when I was in kind of dark place, living in a tiny apartment in the City., trying to balance my energy through meditation.
Tiki
I imagined a giant Tiki, with an unfortunate man going through the Tiki’s legs on the way to the volcano.
The Hiker
I was inspired by a view from the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in California down to the Central Valley and in the distance, Sacramento. I didn’t use a reference for this but just memory and imagination. First I did a pen & ink drawing, which I scanned and used digital watercolor in Corel.
Cocoon
